Hi there. My name is Marygrace Taylor, and I’m a health andfood writer and editor living in Austin, Texas with my husband and our dog.
Somewhere along the way, I grew tired of Target, and plastic
bottles, and throwing endless stuff in the trash when it stops working, and
clothes made in sweatshops that fall apart after one washing. I got tired of
rushing and always feeling pressure to be better, more successful, whatever.
Slothful is my attempt at figuring out how I can balance the
creature comforts I love—eating well, looking pretty, surrounding myself with
nice things—with feeling good about the choices I make and their impact on
people and the planet. In other words, living well and with a conscience, or
moving through life with meaning.
